This is the 3rd incident in the space of a few months. The Solana network has recently been congested, causing some transactions to fail. Several users have wondered if the blockchain has fallen victim to another denial-of-service attack.

This latest incident comes just a month after an attack that also caused network congestion. It was caused by the massive activity of “bots” participating in an “Initial Dex Offering” (IDO) on the decentralized exchange platform Raydium, itself backed by Solana.
